We excel in seamlessly connecting students with impactful jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities that align with their unique preferences, availability, and geographical locations.
At Service Pro, our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to bridge the gap between students and impactful community service opportunities.
Our mission was clear. It was to empower students to make a difference in their communities while gaining valuable skills and experiences. With a dedicated team of five passionate individuals, we set out to create a platform that would not only streamline the search for opportunities but also inspire students to engage actively in community service.
Over time, Service Pro has grown exponentially, thanks to the support of our community and the trust placed in us by students, schools, and organizations alike. We are proud to have won a start-up competition, validating our commitment to making a meaningful impact.
Today, Service Pro stands as a testament to what can be achieved when passion meets purpose. As we continue to expand our reach and offerings, our core values remain unchanged: accessibility, inclusivity, and community empowerment. We are excited about the future and remain dedicated to empowering the next generation of changemakers through tailored community service opportunities.
As high schoolers, our team has observed that many of our peers struggle to find accessible community service opportunities. In fact, over 50% of high schoolers in NYC face this challenge, and most need to complete a certain number of service hours to graduate. Additionally, many communities in NYC are deteriorating, with few volunteers stepping up to maintain the cleanliness and livability of our beloved city. In response, we have come together to help teens address this issue and contribute to making NYC a better place.
Our website allows teens to enter their interests and preferred locations, and then easily find the best community service opportunities for them. It serves as a bridge between high schoolers and non-profit organizations in need of support from teens to promote more community service within NYC and make it easier for high schoolers to get involved and make the city a better place.
